Nothing feels quite as good as the warm sun on your skin. As the cold front and gloomy days of winter recede, spring has arrived and with it those glimpses of the warm sunny weather summer brings. As we focus on making sure our summer bodies are ready for beach attire we often forget that while all the vitamin D feels good, too much is dangerous. Prepare your skin for those sun rays with these easy steps:
1.) Exfoliate: Use a face and body scrub to buff out dead skin cells and smooth skin surface for a baby soft feel.
2.) Moisturize: During the spring and summer months your skin can lose moisture from too much sun exposure, use a thick lotion to replenish your thirsty skin.
3.) Drink lots of water: Water is not only essential for our survival, it also clears skin, hydrates your body, boosts your energy, leaving your skin glowing. Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!
4.) SPF: Finally, the most important thing to remember is the SPF. Preventing sunburn and too much sun exposure by applying sunscreen should be a top priority! Too much sun exposure can lead to skin cancer, sun spots, and many other side effects.
Now that you know, start your skin prep now!
